Bowen University school fees consist of the Academic fee, also known as tuition fee, the acceptance of admission offers for freshers, accommodation fee, popularly known as hostel fee, bench fee for applicable courses, and other fees.

Bowen University School Fee for International Students
International students residing in Nigeria will pay a 10% increment in current school fees. International students outside Nigeria will pay a 15% increment in current school fees across all programs.
How to Pay Bowen University’s Fees
The fresher (100 Level) students and the Returning freshers (200Lvel Direct entry) Students must pay 50% of all the required fees at the beginning of the session, 20% before the first-semester examination, 20% at the beginning of the second semester, and 10% before second-semester’s test.
All other students (Levels 200 to 500) must pay 40% of the tuition upfront, 10% before the first-semester exam, 30% at the beginning of the second semester, and 20% before the second-semester examination.
Method of Payment for Freshers and Returning Freshers
At the start of the session, students are to pay 70% of the school fees and the payment of the remaining 30% fee at the beginning of the second semester. The instalment payment schedule for direct admission 200-level students, also known as returning freshers and 100-level students, is as follows:
- 50% at the start of the session
- 20% before the first semester’s exam,
- 20% when the second semester began.
- 10% before the second-semester exam
Students enrolled in the MB; BS Clinical program are an exception to the rule, and they will pay in three equal instalments depending on when their clinical years fall. Different levels have varying lengths.
Method of Payment for Returning Students
The returning students, 200-level as well- and 300- and 400-level students, may pay using the following options.
Students at the 500 to 700 levels are to pay the full school fee since they are either final year or penultimate year students. The instalment payment schedule for the levels stated above at Bowen University is as follows:
- 10% before the first semester’s examination
- 30% at the start of the second semester.
- 20% before the exam during the second semester.
The MB; BS Clinical students are an exception to the payment mentioned above mechanism; they will be paid in three equal instalments based on the timing of the various clinical years. The duration of each stage varies.
Method of Payment for International Students

Other Things to Know About Fee Payment at Bowen University
- The school will not entertain any refund of fees after payment has been effected.
- Overpayment of fees will be credited into students’ accounts and sorted out at graduation if it has not been fully utilized by then.
- All Students must register for their semester courses within the first three weeks of resumption.
- Registration is contingent on payment of all prescribed fees.
- Late registration after three weeks attracts a penalty of 5% of whatever amount stands against the student as total outstanding fees plus N5,000.00 for late course registration.
- Feeding shall be by approved Cafeteria Services for which students themselves Pay As They Eat (PATE).
