Because the deadline of drop/add for Summer 2022 is July 12th, any classes dropped or withdrawn prior to July 13th will not count toward Pell Grant enrollment status. For example, if you enroll in 12 hours during the Summer term then drop out of 3 hours on July 1st, you will be counted as 34 hours for Pell Grant reasons. If you have already received Summer Pell Grant for 12 hours, this may result in a Pell Grant repayment.

2. Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG)
The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is a type of gift aid that does not need repayment as long as the student was and remains eligible for the grant disbursement.
The maximum FSEOG award amount for fall and/or spring semester is $500. The minimum award amount for the fall and spring semesters is $100. Summertime has its own set of maximum and minimum amounts (if awarded).
Students who are awarded and enrolled at least half-time keep their FSEOG eligibility for the semester. If their adjusted Cost of Attendance (COA) results in their FSEOG grant amount exceeding their recalculated Unmet Need, students enrolled less than half-time may lose eligibility.
